HOUSTON – The most stressful jobs in the United States are now ranked.

The Occupational Information Network, or O*NET, part of the U.S. Department or Labor, recently ranked 873 of the most stressful jobs in the nation. The rankings note that the jobs listed require “accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.”

As USA TODAY noted, the jobs don’t just include careers that pay high salaries, but also jobs that pay low median wages. The jobs are described as those that “requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.”
