On Saturday, Dec. 10, a deputy with Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of the N Sam Houston Parkway East where the driver, identified as Valencia, allegedly showed multiple signs of intoxication while three children, ages 8, 9 and 10, were inside the vehicle.

Deputies said Valencia was given a standardized field sobriety test, which determined his BAC was .13 and .12.

Further investigation also revealed Valencia was out on a $1,001 bond for a previous DWI offense and a $1,001 bond for failure to identify to a police officer.
