Man in custody after kidnapping ex-girlfriend in northwest Harris County, deputies say

HOUSTON – A man is in custody after kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in northwest Harris County Thursday, deputies said.

Harris County sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported kidnapping in the area of Fallbrook and 249 around 7 p.m.

Deputies said they were able to track the suspect’s vehicle and eventually located the silver Toyota Rav4 with a broken rear windshield at N. Gessner and 249 around 12:45 a.m.

According to investigators, authorities conducted a felony stop and the man was taken into custody. Deputies said the 30-year-old woman who was kidnapped was also located inside the vehicle. Her condition is currently unknown, HCSO said.

Right now, investigators said they are unsure what charges the suspect will face.
