Beall said a woman dialed 911 and told dispatchers that she shot a man inside a hotel room after he reportedly became “sexually aggressive” to her.

As deputies arrived, they found a cell phone on the ground outside the hotel room that may be linked to the woman that dialed 911. They later called management to help unlock the door.

When deputies entered the room, Sgt. Beall said a man, who appeared to be in his 60′s was found dead with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The woman who allegedly shot the man fled the scene with the gun, according to Beall. She is believed to be driving a late-model silver-colored Cadillac CTS.

An investigation is ongoing.
