Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee holds community prayer in honor of Juneteenth holiday

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee held a special community-wide prayer service honoring the Juneteenth holiday Sunday morning.
The prayer took place at the Historic Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Jackson Lee was joined by Ramon Manning, Board Chairman for Emancipation Park Conservancy, Pastor Lou McElroy and First Lady Jacqueline McElroy and other elected officials.
Jackson Lee was the first congresswoman to introduce a bill to establish Juneteenth as a federal U.S. holiday.
