Surveillance photos released of person of interest wanted in deadly shooting of man in SW Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking the public to take a good look at photos released of a man considered a person of interest in a deadly shooting.

The fatality occurred at at 2339 South Kirkwood Road about 10:40 p.m. on May 5.

According to police, Gregory Scott, 29, had been shot multiple times in the parking lot. He was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene identified a person of interest in the case. He has not been charged, but investigators would like to speak with him regarding his possible involvement.

The man, who is believed to be in his mid 20s, was wearing a white T-shirt, dark-colored jeans and red shoes. He was last seen in a 2013 black Infinity SUV.
