Controlled fire happening as large lithium generator burns between 290 and Tuckerton Road, Cy-Fair Fire Department says

CY-FAIR – Firefighters in the Cy-Fair area are warning residents of a controlled fire caused by a burning lithium generator.

According to Cy-Fair official Eddie Cruz, a call about the fire came in around 1:05 p.m Wednesday.

Cruz said the fire is now under control, but will probably continue to burn internally for the next three to four days.

Cy-Fair Fire Department officials add that the fire is no danger to the public at this time and that air quality is being monitored.
