HOUSTON – A man has died after he was hit by a vehicle in northwest Houston on Wednesday evening, police say.
Authorities with the Houston Police Department say the pedestrian was hit at 1818 Ridgecrest Drive near Long Point.
The driver fled the scene, according to police.
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
