Who killed Ebenezer Sewornoo? Deputies still searching for suspects nearly 3 years after man’s murder in west Harris County

HOUSTON – Harris County Sheriff’s Office homicide investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for the murder of a man in west Harris County nearly three years ago.

It happened on Feb 24, 2019, at the Vienna Lounge, which is located at 13699 Bissonnet Street.

Deputies said they responded to the shooting around 7:20 a.m. Upon arrival, the victim, Ebenezer Sewornoo, was found inside of a vehicle in the parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound, according to investigators.

Witnesses told deputies the suspects possibly fled in a dark-colored Toyota Tundra. They are described by investigators as a black male and a black female. According to HCSO, the man was wearing a white t-shirt and dark-colored pants, has short hair, a heavy build, is 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs possibly 200 to 215 pounds. The woman was wearing dark clothing, has black hair, and is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall. Both suspects appeared to be in their late 30′s or early 40′s, deputies said.

Anyone with information on this murder is urged to call the HCSO Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
