Person critically injured in west Houston shooting, HPD says (KPRC 2)

HOUSTON – A man was critically injured Wednesday in a shooting in West Houston, Houston police said.

The man was shot at about 9:35 a.m. at a location near the intersection of Dairy Ashford Road and Memorial Drive.

The individual was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.

Detectives say the man was driving southbound in the 700 block of Dairy Ashford Road when an unknown suspect in a silver sedan fired a shot at the victim before fleeing the scene.

HPD’s investigation into the incident ongoing.
