Funnel clouds
HOUSTON – A small tornado touched down in northwest Harris County Thursday evening. As severe weather moved through the area, several local residents captured funnel cloud photos and videos.
The severe weather occurred around 4:37 p.m. near Cypress. By 5 p.m., the storm that produced the likely tornado had weakened and no longer showed signs of rotation, according to the National Weather Service. A Tornado Warning, issued for Harris County at about 4:36 p.m., ended at 5 p.m.
