Sheriff: Human remains found in Cypress Park

Human skull remains were found in Cypress Park Sunday, said Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez in a post on Twitter.

An individual made the discovery while strolling through the park, said Gonzalez.

An investigation is underway in a wooded area, away from park amenities. The park remains open.
