Search underway in Fort Bend County after suspect takes off while being served felony warrant, deputies say

MISSOURI CITY, Texas – Deputies are searching for a suspect who has a felony warrant out of Brazoria County, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Deputies said an FBCSO deputy was serving the suspect the warrant from another agency when he took off on foot in the 3300 block of Ivy Mill Lane. The incident happened between 10:30-11:30 a.m.

He’s wearing red shorts, no shoes and a black t-shirt, according to law enforcement. If you have any information, call Dispatch at 281-341-4665.

Deputies are asking people to avoid the area.
