Police said in a news release that Sanchez was driving a gray GMC Yukon westbound when he failed to drive in a single lane and drove into a ditch.  The GMC then struck the driveway of a residence, causing the truck to flip onto the driver’s side.  The woman – who has not been identified -- died at the scene.

Police said Sanchez is now being treated at an area hospital with serious injuries.
