Help for 5 young children after mother killed in Christmas Day crash in SW Houston

HOUSTON – A Go Fund Me page has been set up for five young children who lost their mother in a car accident on Christmas Day.

The mother, Altonette Davis, was involved in an accident off US 90 and Stella Link in southwest Houston.

Her death comes just 24 days after losing her mother.

And now, Davis’ family is stepping up to take care of her five children.

“That’s our goal, is to get them in a house close to us so we can continue to help my cousin raise them,” Monique Hilliard said. “We’re just trying our very best to help take their minds off of everything, but they miss their mom. If it’s not one, it’s another. They want their mom.”
