WASHINGTON – Deputy Darren Goforth is being honored as far away as Capitol Hill Tuesday night.
On the House floor, several Houston-area representatives paid tribute to the fallen deputy and law enforcement across the country. Rep. John Culberson, Rep. Ted Poe and other lawmakers held a Special Order Hour after the last votes Tuesday to support America's law enforcement officers.

Culberson lives in the area where Goforth was gunned down and said he was his neighborhood deputy.
