James Harden named one of the world's highest-paid athletes

The "Beard" is no. 9 on the Forbes list

HOUSTON – James Harden may not have a championship ring, but the Houston Rockets star is doing pretty well in the financial department.

The "Beard" is one of the world's highest-paid athletes, according to Forbes.

Harden is no. 9 on the list, with $46.6 Million. That final tally includes a $26.6 million salary and $20 million in endorsements.

Another local athlete made the list: Andrew Luck, who was the star quarterback at Stratford High School before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts, is no. 6 on the Forbes list. His total listed pay is $50 million. That final tally includes a $47 million salary and $3 million in endorsements.
