HCC student accused of trying to sexually assault another student on campus

HOUSTON - A Houston Community College student is accused of trying to sexually assault another student.

Mohammed Nadir, 21, is charged with attempted sexual assault.

According to court documents, the female victim was walking in the stairwell at the HCC central campus with Nadir in an attempt to exit the building for the day.

Investigators said the two discovered that the exit door was locked and that's when the victim says Nadir tried to sexually assault her.

Police said the victim told Nadir to stop.

Nadir then exited the building.

He's being held in the Harris County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
