The girl's mother, Tammy Cox, reported to deputies that her daughter had run away from their Mauriceville-area home in the 4000 block of Lemonville Lane.

The mother said she went into Heaven's bedroom to check on her and she was not there. She said Heaven, 15, left a note saying she might be heading to California.

Deputies said they were aware of social media posts claiming Heaven might have been with someone she met online and they were working to confirm the information.
