3 arrests made in double murder, kidnapping in Cypress

CYPRESS, Texas – Three arrests were made in connection with a double murder that happened in Cypress on May 7.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said the case involved an abduction and two shooting deaths. The first body was discovered on May 7 when a man found his friend, 34-year-old Kris Maneerut, dead inside his home in the 9900 block of Oakland Lane.

Authorities said his girlfriend, 29-year-old Sarah Cassandra Nelson, was missing and believed to be abducted. Her body was found the next morning in the 18500 block of Wallisville Road. HCSO said she had sustained several gunshot wounds.

Santhy Inthalangsy and Amalinh Phouthavong are charged with capital murder. Lindapone Phanprasa is charged with kidnapping. All three were booked into the Harris County Jail.
