Burglar caught on surveillance camera in La Porte, officers say

LA PORTE, Texas – Police in La Porte are asking for help from the public in identifying a man who burglarized one business and tried to enter several others on the city’s east side of town, officers said Friday.
 
The burglary and burglary attempts took place the second weekend of September, near Highway 146, according to a news release from the La Porte Police Department.
 
The burglar is believed to have a gray goatee. He was captured on surveillance video driving what police believe to be a blue Nissan Versa. The same man may be involved in a Pasadena burglary, as well, officers said.
