Beloved KPRC employee passes away Hank Subotnik retired in 2015 No description found
HOUSTON – An employee who was truly a "building block" of KPRC has passed away.
Hank Subotnik, a news engineer for one of the station's first live trucks, worked on countless important stories, including Tropical Storm Allison, the Oklahoma City bombing and the 1989 San Francisco earthquake.
He later worked as a master control operator until his retirement in 2015.
A memorial for Subotnik will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Seasons 52 Grill in City Center.
