2 suspects in custody after deadly shooting on METRO bus that left woman dead, teen injured

Houston police have taken two suspects into custody in connection with a deadly shooting aboard a METRO bus in west Houston that left a 25-year-old woman dead and a 16-year-old injured. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. on Bus #2611 near Walnut Bend and Richmond, where investigators say the suspects were arguing and both fired guns, striking the victims, who were innocent bystanders. One suspect has been charged with murder, and the other with unlawful carrying of a weapon, and additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues. Authorities used surveillance video and witness information to identify and locate the suspects.
