Mother allegedly shoots man after fight at North Harris County apartment complex
A man was shot Monday evening by the mother of another juvenile following an altercation involving a group of teens outside an apartment complex at 15414 Kuykendahl in north Harris County. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the mother arrived at the scene during the fight and discharged a weapon, striking a man. The man was taken to the hospital, but expected to survive.
Man detained after breaking windows at Vice President Vance’s Ohio home
A 26-year-old man was detained Monday after breaking windows and causing about $28,000 in damage at Vice President JD Vance’s Ohio residence in Cincinnati, the U.S. Secret Service said. Agents found the man armed with a hammer after he breached the property line, vandalized a Secret Service vehicle and tried to flee on foot. Federal charges include damaging government property and resisting officers.
