HOUSTON – A police raid at a southeast Houston home Jan. 28, 2019, turned into a shootout. It ended with five officers injured and two people dead.
The fallout led to police officers and at least one civilian being charged, as well as an investigation of the Houston Police Department’s narcotics division.
Thousands of cases involving one of the officers who has been charged in connection with the case are also being reviewed and some have already been dismissed.
