LAKE JACKSON, Texas – Police are investigating after a husband and wife were found dead inside a home in Lake Jackson.
According to authorities, Schubert Charles, 53, and Catrina Charles, 39, were found shot to death around 7:30 p.m. after police got a call about a possible assault at a home near Petunia Street and Daffodil Street.

Officers said they believe the suspect is not at large, and the incident was an apparent murder-suicide in relation to a domestic disturbance.
According to authorities, the incident was called in by a family member who was not at the house when it happened.
That person arrived home, found the bodies and called the police, officers said.
