BROOKSHIRE, Texas â Amazon is hiring more than 400 people to fill full-time jobs at its Brookshire fulfillment center, company representatives announced Friday.
Representatives of the online retail juggernaut said that shifts for the available positions vary, and the average pay starts at $12 an hour. Benefits include up to 20 weeks of paid leave, insurance, retirement accounts and company stock options.

The Brookshire fulfillment center is located at 31819 Highway Blvd.
Company representatives said the new hires will join a workforce of 125,000 full-time Amazon employees at 75 fulfillment centers across North America.
