Most awkward National Signing Day moment ever? Mom walks out as Jacob Copeland picks Florida

National Signing Day is a memorable day for student-athletes and their families as their loved ones decide their futures, but it seems that not everyone in wide receiver Jacob Copeland’s family was on the same page.

When Copeland revealed Wednesday that he’d decided to attend school in Florida, Copeland’s mother -- who was wearing a Tennessee hat and an Alabama sweater -- abruptly got up and left the ceremony.

A commentator asked Copeland who it was who had stood up and he replied, “That was my mom. I don’t know why exactly she walked out, but yeah.”

Later, however, Copeland's mother returned to his side and give him a hug.
