JJ Watt takes firsthand look at how Harvey relief funds are being spent
HOUSTON – Many Houstonians are asking whatever happened to the money that was raised by Texans player JJ Watt for Hurricane Harvey victims? Well, Watt went to see for himself.
He got a firsthand look at the work being done with the money he helped raise for Harvey relief.
Watt visited with the workers who are helping rebuild homes that were damaged by the storm. He also got to meet the families affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Watt raised $37 million for those affected by the storm. He said spending time with the families was an inspiring experience.
