Texas Renaissance Festival closes early due to power outage in Grimes County No description found
GRIMES COUNTY – The Texas Renaissance Festival closed early after a power outage in Grimes County.
The power went out at 2 p.m. and they were able to used backup generators and continue the festival until 6 p.m.
Officials made the decision to close the festival early to ensure the safety of guests and employees. The festival was wrapped up with the Royal Fireworks ending the day at 6 p.m.
Festival officials said they will reopen at 9 a.m. Sunday morning and operate on its normal schedule.
