Tropical Depression 14 has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Lee, according to the National Hurricane Center.
As of 10 a.m., the center of Tropical Storm Lee was near latitude 12.5 north, longitude 33.1 west, the hurricane center said.

The tropical storm is moving to the west at nearly 12 mph (19 km/h).
A slower westerly or west-northwestwardly motion with a decreased forward speed is expected during the next couple of days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Tropical storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110km) from the center, according to the hurricane center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
Little change in strength is forecast for the next 48 hours.
