Upper Kirby apartment residents give back by donating clothes for flood victims

HOUSTON – As thousands are forced to leave their homes following Hurricane Harvey, dozens in a local Houston apartment complex gathered to collect clothes and other necessities for those in need.
Residents of the Upper Kirby Apartment complex shared photos of their collection drive Tuesday.
Residents collected four truck loads of items for the hundreds taken to the George R. Brown Convention center. The GRB is one of several places evacuees have been taken to, since Hurricane Harvey caused catastrophic flooding across Southeast Texas since Saturday.
