City Council approves speed limit change along Galveston's seawall
No description foundGALVESTON – The Galveston City Council approved a new speed limit for Seawall Boulevard Thursday.
The current speed limits along the seawall are 40 mph from 61st to 39th streets and 35 miles mph from 39th to Ferry streets.
The new ordinance makes the speed limit for the entire seawall stretch 35 miles per hour.
The new speed limit will take effect 10 days after the second posting in the local newspaper.
