North Carolina man uses scooter to haul a huge couch

LEXINGTON, N.C. – A Lexington, North Carolina, man is getting a lot of attention after photos surfaced online of Whittney Biggerstaff hauling his curbside treasure.

Biggerstaff was caught on camera picking up a sofa from the side of the road and balancing it on his bike for two miles until he made it to his home. 

"I've hauled a lot of things on my scooter, but that was the biggest thing I've hauled," Biggerstaff said. "I was surprised that I was able to do it."  

Biggerstaff says this isn't the first time he has hauled a wide load. He says he has also carried televisions and a fridge on his scooter.
