HOUSTON – Mayor-elect Jeff Wagner defeated candidate JR Moon in the Pasadena Mayoral runoff Saturday night.
Jeff Wagner received 3,756 votes, while Moon received 2924 votes.

Moon said he's disappointed with the results, but he is proud of the campaign he ran.
Wagner said he's ready to get to work.
Outgoing mayor Johnny Isabelle was unable to run due to term limits.
Isabelle has been at the helm of city government in Pasadena for years.
Racial tension and a federal lawsuit that questioned who had access to the ballot box garnered national attention that neither candidate wanted.
The mayoral runoff election was the first since a federal judge in Pasadena intentionally discriminated against Hispanic voters by violating their voting rights.
Both the Wagner and Moon told KPRC 2 they hope for the best here in the city of Pasadena.
