Highway 288 north at Coale Road reopens after vehicle fire

A vehicle fire Tuesday closed all northbound lanes of Highway 288 at Coale Road between Lake Jackson and Angleton.

The fire was reported around 6:15 a.m., but lanes were reopened just after 7 a.m. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
