Prescription drugs stolen from Walgreens in Bryan

BRYAN, Texas – A man stole prescription drugs from a Walgreens store in Bryan, police said Saturday.

Officers with the Bryan Police Department were called to the store, at 3312 E. 29th St., about 5 a.m. to investigate a robbery, according to a news release.

No one was hurt. The amount of drugs the man stole isn’t known.

The robber sped off in a vehicle after the incident, which police found nearby a short time later, officers said.
