HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 26-year-old man will spend eight years in prison for the possession of child pornography, investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
Joshua Harrison Bishnow had been charged with three counts of possessing child porn, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Bishnow pleaded guilty and a judge handed down his sentence Monday in district court.
Authorities were tipped off to the situation when Bishnow went to an office supply store in June 2016 to have his iPhone screen replaced. A technician working on the device found photos of child porn and contacted officials.
Deputies met Bishnow as he returned to pick up the phone, and he denied placing any of that material on the device, investigators said.
Deputies kept his phone as evidence.
Next, a high-tech crime unit and the child abuse unit from the Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at Bishnow’s home. Authorities took computer servers and a laptop, and found several hundred photos of child porn, along with videos.
Bishnow is waiting to be transferred to prison.
