Police locate 70-year-old Pearland man who was reported missing

PEARLAND, Texas – Pearland police have found a 70-year-old man they said went missing over the weekend, the department said.

Timothy Edward Gard Sr. was reported missing on Saturday around 2:09 a.m. He was last seen at 9002 Broadway St. at a La Quinta hotel parking lot.

Police said he suffers PTSD and dementia, they said he has a past history of suicidal thoughts.

Gard was found sitting in the lobby of Longview Regional Hospital, willingly, to receive treatment.
