Man accused of terrorizing neighbors with air horn arrested No description found
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Police in El Segundo, California arrested a driver accused of sounding an air horn in the early morning hours and then driving away from neighborhoods.
John W. Nuggent was arrested early Sunday morning after police said residents heard the noise, came out of their homes and made a citizen's arrest .
Neighbors said the man has been terrorizing the neighborhood with the loud noises almost every day for weeks.
Police had not been able to catch the culprit because he always took off quickly in a getaway car.
Investigators did not give a motive for the behavior.
Nuggent is facing a misdemeanor charge of suspicion of disturbing the peace.
