I-69 south reopens after cement mixer catches fire
HOUSTON – Several lanes of Southwest Freeway were closed Wednesday after a cement mixer went up in flames.
According to police, the brakes on the vehicle caught fire for an unknown reason.
The fire that was reported around 3:30 a.m., closed the right shoulder, right lane and three center lanes.
No injuries were reported.
