NEW YORK – Barring any major Election Day snags Tuesday evening, we will likely know who our next president is going to be.
Both candidates will wind up in New York City -- their campaign headquarters are less than 2 miles apart -- but they are spending a long final day on the campaign trail.
With just hours to go, it's down to the wire and they are pulling out all the stops -- and some big names too.
At a Hillary Clinton rally in Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi warmed up the crowd to hear from the first lady, the man Clinton hopes to succeed and Clinton herself.
"Although my name and my opponent's name may be on the ballot," Clinton told the crowd. "Every issue you care about is on that ballot."
Nearby in New Hampshire, Donald Trump was revving up supporters himself with the help of his running mate Mike Pence.
The polls show Trump trailing Clinton, and he's trying to improve his chances by crisscrossing the nation with stops in the key battleground states of Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Michigan.
He was happy to score endorsements from two of the biggest names in professional sports: Tom Brady and Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots.
"He called today and he said, 'Donald, I support you. You're my friend and I voted for you,'" Trump told the crowd.
In the final NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll, Clinton holds a four-point lead over Trump -- 44 percent to 40 percent -- which is well within the margin of error.
