HOUSTON – Mission Glen Elementary Principal Kari Bruhn issued a statement to parents Wednesday about yet another clown incident.
Wednesday after school, a parent was walking to Mission Glen Elementary to pick up her child. She reported seeing a man described as wearing a clown mask get out of a car that had passed by. According to the news release, the parent reported that the man began chasing another person who was walking in the area. The parent immediately called the police.

According to the release, Fort Bend ISD Police were notified to assist in the investigation. Because this occurred in the neighborhood, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office was also notified and has indicated deputies will be increasing patrols in this area Thursday morning.
Three students who had been walking home Wednesday reported seeing a man in a similar mask. According to the students, the vehicle with two people inside first passed by them, and one of the men got out of the vehicle after it came back and stopped. The students called police and ran back to the school.
No one was injured in the incidents.
"I am sharing this information not to alarm you, but to make you aware. We want to remind our parents to speak to their children about the importance of being aware of their surroundings and reporting anything or anyone that makes them feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way. We are thankful that law enforcement officers responded quickly to assist our students," Bruhn said.
