HOOD COUNTY, Texas – A Texas utility worker proved his dedication to his job by submerging himself headfirst in muddy water to repair a broken water line. And now, after a photo of his efforts went viral, the host and star of "Dirty Jobs" is reaching out to the worker.
Andrea Adams said a water main broke in her driveway last week. She snapped a photo of one of the workers going in headfirst into the muddy water to help repair the leak.

That photo spread quickly on social media.
Mike Rowe of "Dirty Jobs" posted the photo on his social media accounts offering to buy the worker a beer.
"I don't know who this guy is, but he's all over my wall, all over Facebook, and all over the Internet. Hell of a thing to have your photo go viral, and still remain completely anonymous. At any rate, if you recognize him, tell him the first beer is on me," Rowe wrote.
Even Wrangler Jeans chimed in offering to send the worker some new jeans.
"That's a helluva dirty job. You buy the beer, Mike, and we'll get him some new jeans," someone from Wrangler Jeans wrote.

A Dallas TV station identified the utility worker as Jimmie Cox. He told the station that he had to reach down nearly five feet to clamp the broken water line.
We definitely think he should be considered employee of the month, at the least.
