Arrest made in fatal 2015 shooting outside Houston nightclub

HOUSTON – Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting last year that killed one person and wounded two others.

The shooting happened during the early-morning hours of Sept. 26, 2015, in the parking lot of a nightclub in the 3300 block of Old Spanish Trail.

According to Houston police, two groups of men got into a fight in the parking lot, then exchanged gunfire.

Jerry Parker, 42, of Houston, was killed in the shooting.

On Friday, police announced the arrest of 40-year-old Darrell Aliniece in connection with the case. He was charged with murder.
