2 teens arrested for aggravated robbery, possession

BRYAN, Texas – Two teens were arrested for aggravated robbery, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in Bryan on Aug. 9.

Christopher Jeremy Salazar, 17, and an unnamed 16-year-old entered the Stripes at 4300 Boonville around 1 a.m., police said. One was armed. The teens demanded money from the clerk, but the clerk refused to open the registers, according to reports.

About 1:45 a.m., an officer approached three people in the parking lot of a Stripes at 600 N. Earl Rudder Freeway. Two of the people matched descriptions of the teens sought for the previous robbery.

The two were arrested and charged.
