CORSICANA, Texas – Navarro County emergency crews shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 45 due to flooding Monday morning.
Chopper 5 in Dallas flew over the flooded areas.

Navarro County Office of Emergency Management shared a video on Twitter of a water rescue on I-45 between Angus and Streman. It shows emergency crews on a boat rescuing a driver from their car that was stuck in rushing waters.

The Navarro County emergency services had been inundated with several calls about flooded roadways and warned drivers to avoid driving on I-45 south.
