Four new pictures were been released of Princess Charlotte, taken by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, ahead of the princess' first birthday.
"The Duke and Duchess are very happy to be able to share these important family moments and hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do," Kensington Palace said.
The Kensington Palace Twitter account shared photos of the Princess when she was born and of her throughout her first year with the caption:
#PrincessCharlotte turns one today. Thank you for all of your birthday wishes."

Catherine, known for her keen interest in photography, took the pictures of her daughter last month at Anmer Hall, the family's residence in Norfolk, the palace tweeted.
In one of the pictures, the princess -- who turns 1 today -- is shown walking assisted by a baby walker filled with blocks.
In another, she stands holding on to a chair with a blue bow in her hair.
The chubby-cheeked royal bears a strong resemblance to her brother, Prince George.
Earlier, the palace tweeted photographs of Catherine taken by British photographer Josh Olins in the Norfolk countryside. The photographs will feature in British Vogue to mark the magazine's centenary.
A big thank you to everyone for your kind messages. We're glad you enjoy the portraits as much as we do! #Vogue100
