Channel 2 speaks with J.J. Watt during Super Bowl week

Nothing like a Super Bowl in his home city to get Texans star J.J Watt motivated for the Houston Texans' next season.

"That's definitely on all of our minds as players. We would love to make that happen for our fans, for our city. But I think regardless of what happens, the city of Houston is going to put on a great show," said Watt. "I think it's going to be awesome. I think our city's going to do an incredible job showcasing itself. I think our fans are really going to open their doors to the people of the Super Bowl, and I think we're gonna put on a great experience. And obviously, as a player I'm working as hard as I can to get us into that game."

The Houston Super Bowl committee is here in San Francisco too, plans have begun to take the Super Bowl from the city by the bay to the Bayou City.

Channel 2's Sara Donchey had to ask: How does San Francisco compare to Houston?

Spoiler alert: J.J. Is a big fan of the Lone Star State.

"Football. It's pickup trucks. It's barbecue. It's...what more do you want?" said Watt. "You know, I try to stop through the tailgates, every game on Sunday, sometimes I cut it close to kickoff, though."
