Police release sketch of man accused in HCSO detention officer shooting Officer shot multiple times; sketch of accused released No description found
HOUSTON – Police released Thursday a sketch of the person accused of shooting a detention officer.
Sunday night, the Harris County Sheriff's Office detention officer was shot multiple times during an attempted car burglary outside his north Harris County apartment.
Harris County deputies said the officer confronted the four thieves when he was shot.
The officer was taken to the emergency room in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officer's Chevy Avalanche was found in northeast Houston after investigators said the burglars tried to burn it.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office homicide division at 713-274-9100.
